Here's How to Apply as a Transfer Student

STEP 1
Start Your Application

When completing your application, it鈥檚 helpful to have a copy of your transcripts and around an hour. Need to take a break and finish later? You can save your progress and pick up where you left off any time.

We strongly encourage applicants to complete the 500-word application essay because it's the perfect chance to tell us more about yourself and why you want to be a Wildcat. The application essay prompts include:

  • Why is the University of 69传媒 the right fit for you and how will your chosen academic area of study align with your interests, goals, and values?
  • Is there anything else you鈥檇 like to share that you have not already included?听

To join the remarkable students of the W.A. Franke Honors College, indicate your interest while filling out the general admission application to the university. Then, you will be able to access the supplemental materials required for honors consideration. Learn more about the .

STEP 2
Finalize Your Application and Prepare for Your Transfer

A complete application also includes payment of the application fee, which is $50 for 69传媒 residents and $80 for non-69传媒 residents or residents of other U.S. states. This application fee is non-transferable and non-refundable.

STEP 3
Send Us Your Transcripts

You鈥檒l need to from every institution you鈥檝e previously attended so we can verify your credits to ensure you meet our admission requirements.

STEP 4
Get Excited

Once your application is submitted, we'll review you for admission and then send your decision electronically. For fall 2026 applicants, admission decisions will begin being released on January 15, 2026. Be sure to monitor your email and check your account for status updates on your application.
